Board Meetings: 6-9 meetings per year
Committee Meetings: 4-8 meetings (Governance, Finance, Programs)
Preparation: Material must be reviewed prior to meetings to ensure active and timely participation.
Directors are asked to contribute to BTR's financial stability in whatever way is most appropriate: personal donations, introducing BTR to potential donors, or amplifying fundraising campaigns. While there is no set contribution amount, giving is strongly encouraged.
Beyond the Reach was founded in 2013 because one woman saw a need, and for more than a decade, she's been filling it. Over time, we have grown into a thriving nonprofit that fosters growth, connection, and interdependence between urban youth and senior citizens in fragile communities.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve. From entrepreneurs and educators to industry professionals and retired healthcare workers, we work together to offer comprehensive support to those on the brink.
We are proud to partner with a variety of are businesses and local organizations. These alliances help us extend our reach in Memphis and the Mid-South.
